What’s the Back Story?
Picture this: it’s the Spring of 2015 and YourRage, a 17-year-old high schooler, who’d later graduate over the Summer, takes the first step of becoming a creator by making his first post on Instagram.
The year is October 2012, and 15-year-old middle schoolers, Rage, joined Instagram. But, here is the thing: He didn’t upload to Instagram until the Spring of 2015, at which point he was in his senior year of high school.
Now, Rage is not an Instagram influencer, but his journey as a creator goes all the way back to the Instagram of 2015. Get this though: a look at his YouTube channel shows his oldest video titled, “17 KlLL – Fortnite Season 5 First Reactions to Map & Double Shotgun Nerf,” is from July 13, 2018.
Nonetheless, he first began uploading reaction videos in early 2017. By 2019, he has built a fan base on YouTube, and so started streaming on Twitch. Back then, he mainly played Fornite, Elden Warzone, and Rust, aside from streaming in the just chatting category.
Nowadays, YourRage has a pretty huge following across YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, Instagram, X (fka Twitter)… and, let’s not forget, he has been in quite a lot of controversy. Cue into his break up from his now ex-girlfriend.

Early Life
YourRage was born on August 17, 1997, in Florida, to parents of African-American descent. His real name is Joshua Maynard. He is currently 28 years old, and yes… he is Gen Z. His zodiac sign is Leo and he grew up in Florida.
He has a younger sister and both of his parents are of African-American descent. As far as ethnicity, he is African-American. Cue into this: in a June 2023 YouTube video titled:

He currently lives in South Florida. His last name is Maynard. He shares a good relationship with his mom and often pranks her over the phone.
Relationship Timeline
YourRage has only been in one relationship that’s known of and that’s his relationship with his now ex-girlfriend, Chaotic Allure, a Millennial Instagram influencer who Rage dated for four years. Get this: they began dating back in 2020 and broke up in May.
Well… May 2024 was when Rage made it public that he and Allure are no longer together. Per his May 23, 2024, video title, “I got broken up with,” it seems as though Allure initiated the break up. But, then, again, Rage cited personal growth and the need to focus on his content creation career (as much Allure wanted to focus on hers) as the reason for the break up.
On a rather side note, though: Rage is good friends with Desiree Mitchell and Yonna Jay… well, more recently, the dynamics of his platonic relationship with Yonna became shaky in early August.

YourRage’s height has been a topic of debate for years. But, anyway, he confirmed that he is 6 feet 2 inches tall (187 cm), in a July 2020 tweet, where he also revealed his parents’ height to be 5’8 and 5’7. He also revealed the height of his other extended family members… cue into his tweet:
My mom side. One of her sisters like 5’11. All my cousins 6’2+ my female cousin damn near 6ft. My uncles like 5’11.
